Minnesota Housing Partnership collaborates with many individuals, nonprofit organizations, businesses and government agencies to promote homes for all Minnesotans and assist Minnesota communities in the creation and preservation of housing affordable to low and moderate income people.

Public Policy & Education
MHP works to serve as lead organizer to expand public awareness of the population in need of housing that is affordable, and expand awareness of the value of affordable housing to families, communities and the economy.

Loans & Grants
MHP provides loans and grants to affordable housing providers outside the seven county Twin Cities metro area.

Technical Assistance
MHP is a partner with two other federal agencies, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, to deliver project-specific and organizational technical assistance.

Crisis Housing
MHP administers a crisis housing fund for the Department of Human Services. This fund pays housing costs for those receiving treatment for mental illness.
