Voting

Nonprofit organizations are not legally allowed to endorse candidates so we can't tell you who to vote for. However, it is the privilege and responsibility of every citizen to remain educated about candidates and their positions, and to vote for the candidate that best represents their interests. Tools on voting and how to obtain information on candidates are below.

Raising housing on political agendas will happen only when candidates for elected office understand that the issue of affordable housing is important to voters. At the same time, it is vital that the low income voters housing organizations typically represent understand how decisions made by elected officials directly affect their lives, how to register to vote and how to get to the polls on Election Day.
