We will only be successful in achieving our goal of Homes for All if we work together. There are several ways to get engaged in the affordable housing fight including communicating with policy makers through Action Alerts or becoming a campaign supporter.

Some daily ways to seek homes for all include:

• Setting the record straight when you hear someone say something inaccurate about affordable housing or the people who benefit from it. Write a letter to the editor in a local newspaper.
• Encouraging the construction of a wide variety of homes in your community. Call, write or meet with your legislators or council members.
• Supporting local zoning initiatives that encourage housing options in your community. Testify before your neighborhood planning group, city council or county board.
• Encourage your congregation, neighborhood and other organizations to sponsor a housing forum and contribute to the creation of affordable housing.
